Short episodes, a cast with a ton of chemistry. No unrealistic situations. Just a good feel good show with a great cast. We need more of this. See more Kathy W @kate318 4d I watched this series because it is based on my favorite beach read author’s book. I have read everything Elon Hildebrand has written, even though her woke perspective is a bit annoying. But, I like the stories and most of her characters and the fact that everything happens on or near Nantucket, which I even visited Nantucket because of her books. It’s been awhile since I read this one, but I’m pretty sure there were some significant changes. I don’t remember a DEI airline pilot who hates flying as the mistress, and I don’t remember the daughter as being so nasty. It didn’t help that the actress playing her was your typical, Gen Z, mediocre, uninteresting, flavor of the moth type actress. The rest of the female cast I liked, but I could’ve done without the digs at white people, which is a common Elin Hildebrand thing, unfortunately. But, the good EH things are there, as well: the food, the beach, Bartlett Farms, Cru, and her beloved island and its culture. See more X X @Xxxxxx246 4d Contrived and unrealistic, boring acting.
