When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith’s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they’re forced to go on the run together. It’s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels.

Ride Or Die isn’t quite the action vehicle Waddingham and Spencer deserve, but they both excel regardless, hitting the thrills and comedic beats with formidable and charismatic tenacity. Go to Full Review

Ride or Die is very efficient in terms of its own hit list: bouncy, well-acted and entertaining, the show doesn’t transcend its assorted genres but instead happily plays with them. Go to Full Review

Fun if not predictable, this eight-part buddy action-comedy is buoyed by one very smart script decision: It never gets in the way of its lead duo, [actors Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer]. Go to Full Review

Detail-obsessed assassins are a common character trope that shows like Barry and Killing Eve have been playing around with (and undermining) over the past decade. Go to Full Review

Light, fun, full of playfulness, humor and heart. There is not a lot of depth here, but the leads are so engaging you just want to hang out with them and get invited to their next adventure. Go to Full Review

Between Waddington and Spencer's chemistry and the satisfying balance of action, drama and comedy, this is one of the best shows of the year. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Vivi B @chilena9 1h Finally a female James Bond! Strong, smart, witty, intelligent, gorgeous, and accomplished women fighting criminals and never backing down. I loved the scenery and going to so many places in Europe. Hannah Waddingham was stunning! See more Craig B @Boundsy 14h Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham really drive this fun and silly romp. Great for a 'leave your brain at the door' watch. See more Alain E @AlainE 15h Strongly recommended if you are an adolescent boy. Unfortunately it arrives fifty years too late for me. I was eager to see how my LG handles Dolby Atmos, but I will have to wait for more intelligent content. In the opening scene we see an assassin targeting a celebrating Russian in an Austrian ski resort. The victim is at the sites of the high powered rifle, but the killer leaves the weapon at the slope and skis down to the party to stab the victim with a knife. One puncture and the oligarch drops dead! I hope Octavia Spencer is reimbursed handsomely to appear on this. I lasted 2:26 minutes. As good as the Odyssey, but with more snow. See more Edward C @RT50393947 18h 5 stars because it was just the fun, silly, sweet escapist fair I needed. The leads and supporting cast are all great and the locations are gorgeous. A few laugh out loud moments and some surprisingly sentimental and emotional. Overall, really fun and entertaining. Can’t wait for another season. Some beautiful cinematography too. See more Barbara L @bluke 1d Fabulous! Octavia Spencer gets to expand her range, and Hannah Waddington is the modern day James Bond—a gorgeous femme fatale at age 52! What fun!! See more Andrew G @RT57493772 1d Ride or Die Ride or Die has great cinematic presentation, with impressive production values, stylish visuals, and polished action sequences. The overall look and feel is undeniably high quality. However, it's all a bit cringe. The show expects audiences to believe that two middle-aged women are elite, globe-trotting super-spies capable of orchestrating elaborate escapes, flawless cover-ups, and high-profile assassinations. Even by the standards of espionage thrillers, it's asking far too much. Suspension of disbelief is one thing, but this stretches credibility to breaking point for an hour at a time. While the chemistry between the leads helps carry the story, the increasingly implausible plot twists make it difficult to stay invested. It's entertaining if you switch your brain off and enjoy the spectacle, but those looking for a more grounded or believable spy thriller may find it hard to take seriously. And the DEI is beyond ridiculous! See more Read all reviews
