Craig B @CraigB7708 6h Really didn't think I would like this and just watched it because i was bored. But it was a better than average comedy after 1 episode. Brian Posehn really makes the show (burt) he just has a way of delivering lines I find amusing. Sure it's not the greatest in the world but it has room to grow into a very good comedy. See more p . @tryasecas 14h as a big sci-fi and comedy fan this is the best thing that has ever happened See more Draven A @DRAVENARCANE 1d I joined specifically to write a review, especially when I saw that someone posted that it lacked character development. it's only the very first episode...give it a minute! the creators intended for it to be a show you could "Drop into" without having watched TBBT. I'd say it has accomplished enough considering, as I said, it's the first episode. You drop right into the action, which is so well done. Visually and thematically stunning! TBBT viewers will catch drop in bit players from the show from the very first scene and the main ensemble of 4's chemistry clicks fantastically. I watched it 3 times in a row and enjoyed it all. I would have given it 5 stars, but the pacing is so non-stop that the 25 minute runtime seems not long enough but, given the obvious cost of elaborate sets and CGI, I get it. A brilliant turn for the showrunners to nab up beloved side characters and give them a chance to shine. Highly recommended!! It definitively takes it's heart and center from it but his is more innovative, bigger concept, bigger set pieces, staging and action with wry humor you'd expect thrown in in good measure. And you know what? No annoying canned laugh track. Maybe disappointing and somewhat more sophisticated than the BBT crowd expected, but the creators went out on a big limb and I think they are (starting to) nail it. Can't wait for the rest of the series to air. To those still scratching their heads waiting for a BBT remake, watch futher then decide. This is totally new.
