This is entry-level queer cinema, but for the YA and younger audiences who saw themselves represented in the series, this sweet, undemanding picture will be a welcome opportunity to reconnect with much-loved characters one final time. Go to Full Review

Following the same contours as the beloved TV series, this film caps off Nick and Charlie's high school years to tell a coming-of-age story while remaining sweet and gentle. Go to Full Review

Michaela T @michaela02 16h what a disappointment.... if you're not a die-hard fan of heartstopper and the actors, it's honestly a waste of time. it lacks any depth; the movie format causes the story to be only about charlie and nick, the other characters are basically npcs who care about nothing but nick and charlie's problems. also the visual aspect didn't work for me this time, it was all over the place, the colours got the typical netflix treatment. overall, it was an underwhelming experience and i think they should've stuck to the series format... See more cohen M @cohenmitchell30 21h didn't know they made a movie bout my hb 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 See more higen B @higen 1d Wish they could have done a full final season. Thoroughly loved it See more Aaron W @RT44448297 1d Refreshing and adorable. See more Greta V @aleece128 1d I did not like it. No real plot, predictable in a bad way, horrific color grading. The show was so amazing, so I’m disappointed. See more Jepoy O @RT97210117 1d I love this series/film more than I can fully express. It is not simply entertainment—it is a beautiful, honest, and deeply meaningful piece of art that I will treasure forever. I cried, I smiled, and I felt every emotion alongside the characters. As an adult, this series/film gave me something I did not realize I still needed: validation. Its LGBTQI+ representation feels sincere, gentle, hopeful, and profoundly human. It reminds us that queer people deserve love stories filled with tenderness, joy, safety, acceptance, and happy possibilities—not only pain and struggle. Watching it felt like healing a part of myself. It made me feel seen, understood, and reassured that it is never too late to embrace who you are or to find comfort in stories that reflect your truth. Thank you to everyone who created this masterpiece. **Heartstopper TV Series and its movie —it is a safe place, a source of hope, and a piece of my heart that I will carry forever.** 🏳️‍🌈🍂❤️ See more Read all reviews
