Fortunately The Pitt isn't just a PSA dressed up in scripted TV show clothing. It's a living, pulsating television organism that's incredibly gripping, often laugh-out-loud funny... and blessed with a massive cast of top-to-bottom excellent actors. Go to Full Review

[Season 2] keeps up the same intensity and engrossing storytelling that earned Season 1 just about every award possible. Go to Full Review

The writing knows how to use such little moments to say everything we need to know about a character. Go to Full Review

The compassion, competence, and kindness of the characters ensures that for all its gore and depiction of systemic failure, The Pitt is oddly comforting. It’s a warm-blanket show in trauma-drama trappings. Go to Full Review

MJ E @Mj.Ewens 18h The closed caption is a benefit! however the ASL women in the corner which cannot be removed is annoying, I should be able to choose to use ASL services or not. See more Annette D. @AKDiggs 3d Great show. The only negative is they really should have released this seasons episodes all at once as weekly releases makes it hard to recall all that went one in the last episodes… See more Christoph T @Christmases 3d amazing cast great storyline and amazing acting! it's like drinking concentrated TV show juice. best medical drama amongst I watched! See more Troy R. @tmrowley 3d Not quite ER, but a good show nonetheless. See more Ruth H @HardheadedWoman 3d I know it’s the ER but way too many gruesome closeups of injuries and hospital procedures. And let’s not forget the maggots. Mostly I "watch" this show with my eyes closed. Since Nurse Evans won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in Season One, she now has a much expanded role. Swinging for the fences to get a Best Actress Emmy for season two, she speaks loudly with a weird accent which I guess is supposed to sound like street wise Pittsburg but actually sounds like a speech defect. A little bit of her goes a long way. In stable condition with continued improvement expected. Will continue to monitor. See more Maureen H @Buddhababe 3d Great show! Not a "blood and guts" person, however the intensity, storylines, character arcs and realism are engaging. Bonus I have John O'Donohue's book of blessings on my table, and was delighted to hear the reference. Always happy to hear people discuss spirituality or some belief in something greater - seems like when up against the wall, people seem to drop to their metaphorical knees. See more Read all reviews
