This was an exciting movie to watch from start to finish! Never a dull moment. Alot of suspense, action and drama!

So, this movie is just kinda “odd”. Setting aside for the moment the plot, acting and so forth, the cinematography coupled with a terribly mismatched sound track were huge distractions. The camera shots and angles were constantly inches from the actors faces - like right in their faces. It made for a jumbled, claustrophobic effect. Became super annoying almost immediately. There was also this odd “fish lens” look, where the edges of every shot has a slightly blurry vignetting effect, it just struck me as unnatural and equally distracting. Couple these issues with a sound track that would have made sense for a horror movie or similar . It was just completely off.

Definitely recommend it. It’s a thrilling story set within the murky Oregon foods of the 1930’s. It’s character driven and suspenseful with great acting. Nice to see Russel Crowe in a quality movie again.
