Back to Action (12,400 – 18 Apr 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) The veteran Fred Parras owns a bar in the VFW Post #2494. His friends Walter Reed, Abe Hawkins, Lou Clayton, Doug McCarthy and Thomas Zabriski are celebrating his birthday when the young Ranger Shaun Mason arrives to drink a beer and is invited to join the group. Meanwhile, the drug dealer Boz forces the drug addicted Lucy to commit suicide. Her sister Elizabeth "Lizard" steals his large supply of drugs and Boz promises drug to a team of drug addicted to the one that brings her back. Lizard runs to the VFW and the veterans protect her in tha beginning of a night of war. "VFW" (2019) is a great action movie having as protagonists a veteran cast with successful actors, such as Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Fred Williamson among others. As a cheap budget retro gory thriller, VFW delivered v.f.m. and as a bonus, gave George Wendt a chance to revert to the Norm. Cheers!

If you want to see a group of old war veteran friends fight violently and fiercely against a bunch of punk drug dealers, with lots of action, blood and a strong dose of stubbornness, this sure is the one.

More an action packed movie. But it does not disappoint. Quite entertaining from the begginng to the end, showcasing a retro 80s vibe full of nostalgia. This one is ideal for us to watch with our daddy.
