It left out an important part of the story which was whether the treatment to turn Tally back to herself worked, so their whole rebellion was for nothing. Terribly disappointing. Contradicting goofs regarding pretties as their ideal self had L.Cox cast as Pretty Boss and Shay's immediate transformation from rebel to Pretty nearly overnight when surgery takes 2 months and 12 day!? Miniseries would have taken this closer to its potential. Good effects. Adventure, tech toys. Felt rushed toward the end and hi-tech city easily low-tech/accessible without hacks, without techy countermeasures. Based on ages of head rebels who were part of Pretty city, rebels should have practical gadgets too as the city seems a century advanced in comparison. Half rating for good digital effects had my attention. Wasted efforts if they dont at least create anime chronicles. Or one-upper: "The Amazing Uglies" anyone!?
