I’m relieved I caught a screening of The Queen of My Dreams because it was hard to get tickets and the theatre was really packed... The film was heartwarming and heartrending. It was funny and cute and visually striking.

This film hit home for me. Growing up as a lesbian Hindu in a conservative place, I never thought I’d see a story like this on screen. It’s rare and honestly so refreshing to finally feel represented. The movie was fantastic and I look forward to watching more movies directed by Fawzia.
