Twelve-year-old Ted (Zac Efron) lives in a place virtually devoid of nature; no flowers or trees grow in the town of Thneedville. Ted would very much like to win the heart of Audrey (Taylor Swift), the girl of his dreams, but to do this, he must find that which she most desires: a Truffula tree. To get it, Ted delves into the story of the Lorax (Danny DeVito), once the gruff guardian of the forest, and the Once-ler (Ed Helms), who let greed overtake his respect for nature.

This 2012 animated fantasy misses the point of the widely acclaimed children’s story and buries its source material inside an anodyne and furiously vacillated framework. It is not simply poor quality entertainment; it is bad for your kids to watch it.

The movie wasnt the best, but the morals were probably my favorite part of the film. But unfortunately, the character designs are awful, well, all except for the Lorax. The character proportions bother me every time i watch this movie. But then again, im watching an Illumination movie. Some people would say, "LET IT DIE, LET IT DIE, LET IT SHRIVEL UP!!", but this film is worth watching at least once. Also, this movie portrays corporate greed very accurately, which i love and hate :|.
