The Devil All the Time has the pretensions of a mythopoetic story that's chipping away at a community's dark underbelly. But here the misery is as belly-up and eager to be noticed as a house cat or a dead fish.

Story is heart breaking and gritty. Accents are perfect for the location of the film. Some of Tom Hollands and Robert’s best work. Southern Gothic at its best.

Watched with my husband who grew up evangelical and it was eye opening in a sad way. Definitely bleak, but dark, gritty psychological thrillers are my jam so i was hooked from the beginning. Blown away by Skarsgard, Pattinson, Tom Holland, and all these non-Americans performing 💯! Amazing cast, fantastic acting, and glad chris evans had to back out cause sebastian stan is the perfect evil guy
