Reggie S @Beebers Sep 13, 2026 Really not impressive or scary. Good idea but not executed well. The dialogue was stilted and unnatural. I also thought it was boring. I watched it on Tubi so I couldn't fast forward through anything I was tired of wading through. A lot of sameness. The upside, the make-up effects were excellent but unfortunately that wasn't enough for me. Someone might like it, just not me. A parasite infects humans through seafood like fish and the ocean, all explained with a quality that makes it seem like it was filmed on a TV channel or even police cameras. A truly terrifying film; the acting gave me goosebumps. If you really want to see a terrifying horror film like Weapons, watch The Bay; you won't regret it at all. See more Read all reviews
