Mark S @RT12007624 May 4, 2026 This could have been an excellent movie except for the fact that there were vast conversations conducted solely in Mandarin, with no sub titles, leaving viewers with no idea about what the hell was going on. Absolutely ridiculous. Directing must have been a huge challenge but was executed in a proper manner nonetheless. Considering the fact that the whole "China" set was constructed near LA airport and only 2 minutes actual footage of Beijing is included in movie, I'd say it's quite an achievement. Emotions are reflected accurately and it deserves a higher rating, imo. I had to watch clips of the movie to realize that I had watched it a few times when it was on a movie channel a few years back.
