The checkered past of Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) catches up to him when he encounters Angelica (Penélope Cruz), a beautiful pirate that Jack once loved then left. Angelica forces him to accompany her to the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the notorious Blackbeard (Ian McShane). Accompanied by a zombie crew, the trio sets sail to find the legendary Fountain of Youth. However, Jack's rival, Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), also seeks the fountain, as does a ship from Spain.

This movie is trash! They would have been better off not bothering to make it at all! C’mon man! A Pirates of the Caribbean movie with NO BLACK PEARL??!! This movie is just a sad sad joke! There are obviously a few funny moments because most of the great characters are still there, but there are no other good things to say about this movie in the slightest! This is just a bunch of lazy pointless slop! Garbage! 3/10

This movie proved me that Mermaids were my Least Favorite Mythical Creatures since 2016. And I love the action of that movie! But giving this movie a 54% from Audiences is CRIMINAL!

I didn't find it as interesting as the previous movies, and it was definitely a little boring compared to the first three, but I still had so much fun watching this. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is enough to make any movie enjoyable, and Blackbeard was an incredibly shocking and cool villain. I definitely recommend this for action, adventure, fantasy, and period-piece fans!

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) It's almost unbelievable that Pirates of the Caribbean declined so much after the second film. Several annoying secondary characters that the script insists on giving the spotlight to.
