J P @Willj148 1d The illusion of the untouchable office romance is a tired, self indulgent vehicle that proves JL is completely out of touch with her audience. Instead of delivering a relatable workplace comedy, the film serves as a Vanity Project star who still demands to be treated as Hollywood's pristine, 'untouchable queen'. It is clear that Lopez is desperately clinging to her old "dream woman" image, completely unaware that the public has grown weary of the act. The romantic connection feel manufactured and entirely unbelievable on screen. EGO over character: She plays herself rather than the character prioritising looking flawless over quality acting. As in the elevator front banner says: It's Going Down. In short, The film relies on a protagonist built from stale, exhausted clichés that feel decades out of date on a flat performance.
