Hammer another nail in the romcom coffin as Brett Goldstein adds a touch of Roy Kent macho to a straight-to-Netflix Jennifer Lopez romcom that can’t handle the heat. A fresh idea here would die of loneliness. Go to Full Review

Office Romance understands that rom-coms can be earnest or outrageous or broad or lived-in or empowering. But it fails to understand that trying to be all of those things at once just dilutes the genre’s power. Go to Full Review

Like the office at its centre, it’s too sleek and corporate to melt us – all work and no play. Go to Full Review

Outside of those one or two moments where the raunch threatens to become overpowering, Office Romance really is business as usual, rom-com-wise. Go to Full Review

Despite a clear intent to capitalize on and weaponize the nostalgia for a certain bygone era of romantic comedies and Goldstein and Kelly’s off-kilter, sometimes hilarious sense of humor, Office Romance struggles to keep our attention. Go to Full Review

Harish N @harish_napa 1h The 2026 Netflix romantic comedy is an average, middle of the road endeavor that favors sleek corporate aesthetics over real heart. It focuses on a forbidden boardroom relationship, proving that a star studded workplace setup can get heavily bogged down by an unpolished script and predictable jokes. Jennifer Lopez is exceptionally good as the workaholic CEO, carrying the film with the absolute comfort of a genre veteran. She looks spectacular and brings a genuine, unpolished vulnerability to her character's isolation. Betty Gilpin provides a brilliant and high quality backing as her sarcastic colleague, effortlessly stealing scenes with the movie's few funny moments. The writing forces a raunchy edge onto a standard formula, relying on random profanity rather than clever storytelling. It remains a fair one time watch for easy background viewing. See more Kayla L @RT25827739 1h I actually REALLY enjoyed this! It is what it is: a fun, nostalgic romantic comedy, and I honestly smiled through most of it. People will say what they will, but if you love a cute, light movie, give this a watch! See more Adriana G @drioliv 1h Not good, not bad. Entertaining if you don't have better things to do and is a fan of romance. The best bits were with the pregnant lady and the HR guy. See more DM R @RT95139106 2h Dear Lord! What is going on with Netflix! The amount of pure garbage misogyny coming from them is staggering. This movie is atrocious! How did JLo get roped into staring in this flaming dumpster fire. Did AI write this movie is the best review I’ve seen. I’ll take that one step forward and say, did AI write any positive reviews of this movie? It’s so bad I can’t imagine anyone watching it all the way through, much less enjoying it. See more Donna A. @RT25266914 2h Goldstein is terrible. No chemistry at all with Lopez. I really wanted to like this, but it was a yawner. No "Wedding Planner" that's for sure. See more Robin G. @SchnauzerLogic 2h Loved it! Exactly what it’s supposed to be. Light Fluffy Silly. I’m not looking for logic, I here for the meet-cute of two attractive (one supremely attractive) people. Assignment fulfilled. See more Read all reviews
