The writing, acting, setting, and concept were all great. Better than the average Hallmark mystery. I would have considered this movie one of my favorites on the channel of all time. BUT, the conclusion to the mystery was so bad and so unfair that it ruined the ending for me. It was unfair to the viewer and would be considered unfair play if this had been a mystery novel. It was so unfortunate. I know what whoever wrote this probably thought it a clever twist but it wasn't. It was stupid and maddening. That said, I will watch another Mystery Island if they make one. That ridiculous ending could not be repeated in another Mystery Island movie without become a joke to viewers and an embarrassment to everyone involved in its production. Thank goodness.
