Eddie Jones (Courtney B. Vance), a professional killer for a covert government agency known as Eliminator Corp., is also a strict Catholic who believes in celibacy. To lighten Eddie's life, his boss (Kathleen Turner) sets him up with the effervescent Lois Newton (Regina King). After the two fall for one another, Lois pressures Eddie to end his celibacy and also give up his career. However, his former boss, Frank Bonner (Jason Alexander), wants him back for one final job.

See more Mar 24, 2011 The film is about an uptight and "celibate" government hit man Eddie (Courtney B. Vance) who eliminates persons that the government has problem with or does not like. As you can imagine, that is a lot of people so business for him is quite brisk but when Eddie decides to quit and be with the woman he loves, he has to face the consequences and become target of the agency. His "Middleman" boss is played by Kathleen Turner and as another one of the agency's bosses is Ed Asner. The romantic interest is played by the Regina King. See more Read all reviews
