The four nations of Air, Water, Earth and Fire lived in harmony until the Fire Nation declared war. A century later, there is still no end in sight to the destruction, then, an Avatar named Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers that he has the power to control the four elements. Not only does it butcher the original material, but it’s hard to watch as well. The transitions are horrible, the story line doesn’t make any sense (unless you’ve seen the original show), and the script and acting is hard to watch as well (no hate to the actors, they did the best with what they were given). It’s a 2hr movie and it took me and my sibling 2 days to even be able to finish it.

Not accurate to the source material at all, and also not a good interpretation of the show either. I think the actors did okay with what they were given, and the set designs were cool, but the dialogue and especially the portrayal of bending was AWFUL. What do you mean fire benders can't produce their own fire? Why does it take ten earth benders to move a small rock?? What strange choices...

Had to come back in 2026 to express my hate for this movie the absolute garbage it was still haunts me to this day. I haven't scene an M. Knight movie since not will I. The fact that he defended this piece of garbage just shows how arrogant he is and terrible he has become it taking any sort of criticism.
