The male lead was fine, but this was really all Selma's charisma that carried this film. In her bigger film roles, as the naive goofy girl or annoying competition to the protagonist, you don't get to see just how lovely she is as the leading lady. A strong 90's feel, although filmed in 2001 (the FX are dated) and decent soundtrack. Strong acting and a solid script keeps it interesting, especially once Charlie and Shawn meet up.
