Jeepers C Mar 22 Let's just get this out of the way. Is this a great zombie movie? It's a ok zombie movie with a original plot, but a couple things keep it from being a great zombie movie that every one will like. The movie begins with a zombie apocalypse out in Las Vegas. Two lowlifes are trying to escape their demise. This includes a wanna be gang banger that can't shoot straight and his sluty girlfriend as his sidekick. They get their car stuck in the sand, cause he had to pull over for her to puke. Along comes 1 solo zombie. All he had to do was shoot it in the head. Needless to say, he runs out of bullets before accomplishing that goal. Will they survive? Unfortunately he doesn't. Next, viewers have to inherit interest in seeing this trashy woman survive walking through the desert with one dumb zombie following her. She is as worthless as they come and I frankly wanted her to die. She is trying to get to her boyfriend's friends place to take a plane to Mexico. Thus, she has a long walk through the desert. It's worth a watch, but don't expect to be blown away. I just couldn't root for this trashy woman to survive. The ending won't win any awards either, but at least I was granted my wish. Suddenly after only 1 zombie following her, in the ending she will be surrounded by a giant horde of zombies. The end. See more J C @PearlJ65 11/28/2024 Absolutely awful. So, so awful. The film is depressing and sad yet manages to have some great funny moments- and thankfully without going into full on comedy. The practical effects are amazing too. I don't want to spoil the movie at all, but I will say that what happens between our two main characters makes me feel so much for Molly... and even I got attatched. I don't even particularly like zombie flicks but this one was a riot! Had my adult ADHD attention from start to finish! My usually chatty "talks through the movie" sister Cathy actually watched it QUIETLY!! Except when were both cracking up! It's clever, imaginative, very entertaining and different . If you're looking for something scary, this isn't your movie. If you want to see a really good movie for a change, give it a go!
