I found the first half pretty boring. That was mainly because I didn't really like the characters. The second half was pretty good though. Still a little dumb and inconsequential, but it delivered on the emotions. The directing is good, the cinematography as well. Tere are a few really beautiful shots, while the pacing is fine. The animals were phenomenal though. It was weird that the actors were talking while the animals had closed mouths, but I got used to it after a while. I heard a few voices that sounded familiar, but I couldn't place them. The credits really surprised me.
