Influences of The Funhouse, The Strangers, and even Saw are all woven throughout, but without the innovation or imaginative set pieces that made those movies memorable. Despite what the premise suggests, there's nothing "extreme" about this haunt.

The third act comes across as a touch too rushed and cleanly wrapped up, but to those people who hope to escape their own haunted houses, it’s surely the type of ending they can take delight in.

The kind of classic slasher movie you would expect from decades ago, but with enough modern flair. This is a definite watch, especially during the halloween season

Teeth clenching, edge of your seat type of movie!! If you like thrill, suspense and just pure whole body tensing scares, this movie is for you. Great story and character development, non clich moments. This will definitely be turning into a must see during Halloween season movie. GO SEE IT!!!

This review is riddled with spoilers. SPOILERS are below. This is my final warning about SPOILERS. Alright Haunt is a solid 2.5 out of 5. So many questions/issues lol. Are the killers body modded serial killer clowns? Did no one on Yelp verify this Haunted House? Did the clowns leave a joke key under the bed in case one of their victims got that far that triggers a shotgun on the backend of said door like a f-ing JIGSAW trap? What if dozens of people showed up to their f-ed up murder house? Do they just get rid of a dozen cars/cell phones/people in one night? Did the stalker ex just exist to leave his phone + car? He served no purpose here lol. At one point Harper picks up a used shotgun shell to reload the trap shotgun? Excuse me? I appreciate that she's wearing a red shirt because ironically, she is NOT a red shirt! Why did this movie end like Home Alone for adults lmao?! HOW DID SHE SET UP THE TRAPS THAT QUICKLY?! I liked Hell House LLC but this didn't do it for me.
