Critics Consensus

Its laudable deviation from series formula not withstanding, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch offers paltry thrills and dubious plotting.

Wallace works in indictments of American television and the current state of parenting that are far more compelling than anything in Halloween or Halloween II. Go to Full Review

Creepy and weird, but with a deliciously mean-spirited sense of humor, Season of the Witch is the sort of movie I wish a major studio like Universal would release more often, albeit with a little more money behind it. Go to Full Review

There's a delightfully promising premise behind Halloween III but somehow Wallace got sidetracked, and the movie wanders away. Go to Full Review

Blake Nov 1 I fulfilled a lifelong dream seeing this in person at the cinema. I know these re-releases of old stuff may not sell as well as the big blockbusters, but please do this again next year!! I really believe youre servicing an entirely new audience when offering older movies such as this one! See more Kia B Nov 1 I would love a sequel to this. See more Jeepers C @RT12312147 Jul 20 This Halloween is actually better then the reviews are making it out to be. It is a departure from the same Halloween experience from 1 and 2. The story is completely original and the soundtrack is really good at creating creepy segments. I am glad they made a different experience, cause Halloween 4 through Halloween Ends weren't that amazing. This is a original that should be watched. Tom Adtkins is great as the alcoholic Dr. trying to stop the masks from killing anyone who's lucky enough to get one. Irony isn't it. See more bluemanorlandofan2026 T @RT92190981 Jul 13 The movie would have been better if it hadn't been called a Halloween movie lots of people thought to see Micheal Myers in this film but no overall its not a bad film but its not the best film ever See more diogo13 T @Tua_mera Jul 10 Fui levado a acreditar que esse era o pior filme de todos os tempos, mas na realidade é um filme divertido.
