Hospital emergency room Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass murder utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. Creepy and weird, but with a deliciously mean-spirited sense of humor, Season of the Witch is the sort of movie I wish a major studio like Universal would release more often, albeit with a little more money behind it.

I fulfilled a lifelong dream seeing this in person at the cinema. I know these re-releases of old stuff may not sell as well as the big blockbusters, but please do this again next year!! I really believe youre servicing an entirely new audience when offering older movies such as this one!

This Halloween is actually better then the reviews are making it out to be. It is a departure from the same Halloween experience from 1 and 2. The story is completely original and the soundtrack is really good at creating creepy segments. I am glad they made a different experience, cause Halloween 4 through Halloween Ends weren't that amazing. This is a original that should be watched. Tom Adtkins is great as the alcoholic Dr. trying to stop the masks from killing anyone who's lucky enough to get one. Irony isn't it.
