Two people talking in a car. Hardly the stuff of white-knuckle drama, right? It is when you hitch two phenomenal actors, Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys, to a suspenseful script and tightly coiled direction by Babak Anvari, and then let them rip.

As a double feature I had a blast. Miss these types of screenings. “Vincent Must Die” was average for me. Nothing special. Seems the director didn’t know or couldn’t think of an explanation so just left it as whatever. “Hallow Road” was the better film. Mysterious and intriguing. I have my idea about it but overall in the moment I was locked in. I went with it and had a great time. Overall I wish they would do more double features.

A very good irish thriller, it keeps you at the edge of your seat all the time and the ending has a twist. Acting is superb; both actors in the leading roles are excellent. Highly recommended.

“Hallow Road” I have got to say that normally I’m a big fan of Rosamund Pike but this film here in my view just wasn’t one of her best performances. I love the concept of the movie but to me it it just lagged in excitement and enthusiasm and and overall was just really a mess. The whole premise of the movie is about mom and dad and try to get to the sea by accident by their daughter. So most of it takes place you know in mom and dad's car and then just who's on and on it is not an easy one to stay locked in. So overall I really didn’t like this one and I really do not recommend it

My heart was thumping from about halfway through til the end . Great acting on both actors . Don’t listen to the “ bad ending” naysayers .
