A splendid opportunity for anyone who hasn’t seen “Hadestown” onstage to experience it. The audience we see at this production at the West End’s Lyric Theatre is so in love with the show that you feel every person there has already seen it three times.

I would argue that it is a love story to musical theater. It shows you what theater can do, which is why I'm so glad that they chose to film the stage show instead of trying to adapt it, because I think you'd lose the magic. You'd lose the spark.
