After Dick Harper (Jim Carrey) loses his job at Globodyne in an Enron-esque collapse, he and his wife, Jane (Téa Leoni), turn to crime in order to handle the massive debt they now face. Two intelligent people, Dick and Jane actually get pretty good at robbing people and even enjoy it -- but they have second thoughts when they're reminded that crime can hurt innocent people. When the couple hears that Globodyne boss Jack McCallister (Alec Baldwin) actually swindled the company, they plot revenge.

Fun with Dick and Jane is an extended Enron joke used to give Jim Carrey plenty of opportunity to mug for the camera. Everything else is more or less perfunctory to that.

Highly underrated Carrey movie. I think the slapstick nature of the business world portrayal/work economy is wrongly misinterpreted as satire when it's deeper and more intricate that that. What I like about this is it has all the Carrey-isms, but toned down to a more acceptable level. Highly entertaining and funny, definitely worth a watch, put your thinking cap on.

It is next level as expected. I really. Really enjoyed it. Oh my. So many laughs throughout the movie. Jim Carrey and Teea Leoni are amazing. I mean both are amazing together. They make so much fun on the screen. I love it a lot. Yes. Jim Carrey can solve my 100 problems. Love you man.

Synopsis
