It drags and drags, gets a bit serious, then it somehow turns into an action comedy? Idk, this film is a lot, but not of the right things. Very little is explained, with key details only hinted at & characters somehow maintain a comfortable lifestyle 9 years post-apocalypse. The film is full of inconsistencies. A monster capable of outrunning & taking down a moving snowmobile is later beaten with a few punches. Lu has no survival skills despite being raised in this world & they all make choices that feel forced & not logical. The constantly shifting relationships create emotional whiplash making it hard to root for anyone. The pacing is all over the place, jumping between survival horror, monster teases & family drama, building towards a predictable climax before ending with cringeworthy callbacks. The music often feels mismatched to the scenes. As a fan of zombie & post-apocalyptic films, I'd hesitate to call this a zombie movie. It often feels more like a family drama with mutant creatures in the background, & it's not one I'd recommend. It's a survival zombie flick. The acting is fine and the action scenes are also fine. A middle of the road three stars. Siento que se tuvo la oportunidad de realizar algo decente y, que se desaprovechó en cada ocasión. La considero una película prescindible. No te pierdes de nada con no verla y jamás deberías retractarte de ello, pero desperdiciar dos horas para verla, eso sí es decepcionante. See more andrea C @Charst Sep 1, 2026 Film davvero pessimo, sia per le sequenze di azione poco sensate, sia per una sceneggiatura deficitaria soprattutto nello sviluppo dei rapporti tra i personaggi, sia per praticamente tutte le sequenze girate all'aperto che risultano incredibilmente artificiali. Peccato perchè la trama avrebbe anche un paio di idee interessanti tra cui lo sviluppo degli zombie. Molto fastidiosa la maggior parte dei dialoghi e dei comportamenti dei personaggi.
