It's about the trials and tribulations of casting a show about the trials and tribulations of casting a show. Expertly told combination of the original casting process and the origins of the show combined with this setting of the revival from open auditions to the final casting call. I defy you not to want to watch the show afterwards, though you may have to settle for the inferior film. My only complaint is that it focuses mostly on the female roles. The guys are barely featured. This is meta cinema squared. Great documentary. See more Dec 16, 2013 It's hard for me to fully empathize since I am the one sibling to have NEVER had the balls, guts, or idiotic thoughts to perform on stage. But I have had plenty of friends and family throughout the years that have found themselves on stage. This film is really about them and their journey.
