While the rapid tonal shifts occasionally graunch, there’s a lot to like about Eenie Meanie. With its combination of colourful characters and copious action sequences, it reminds one of Edgar Wright’s crowdpleasing Baby Driver.

She's a former getaway driver. She's got a guy that's no good for her (and he's the baby daddy). Emotionally all over the place.

Critics will complain that this film is tonally inconsistent, but that just means they failed to read the film’s tone correctly. It’s the kind of movie that’s easy to project our assumptions onto, but the truth is that this story is only nominally about the "heist." What it’s really about is a highly intelligent and somehow, despite the odds, compassionate young woman who ultimately makes a courageous but morally dubious decision. It is a decision that is carefully prepared for in every scene, and watching her make it requires us to reach deep and really consider the implications of her situation. It’s a movie that makes interesting intellectual demands, in other words. Too few movies do that anymore. Bravo!

It honestly deserve a c+ for me. I honestly thought that she need to get out of that relationship and it was kind sad that she killed him not much after, but still named their child after him. Not my favorite for me
