If you appreciate a dark mystery story where the comedy is pitch black yet subtle, and the characters are poignantly relatable to types of people you’ve known in life, you’ll love it. Most of the line delivery’s seemed far too dead panned to make an impact on me, although a dry/subtle delivery can work in a lot of stuff, it just didn’t for me in this film. Very dark humor and sly wit. Well written and directed. Good cinematography and visually pleasing. Stellar cast might be underutilized but convincing in character nonetheless. Reminds me of Fargo where everybody is clueless and shortsighted, in their own eyes, hilarious. Enough drama, melodrama, cluelessness, trivialities, nonsensical stupidity, tomfoolery, some suspense, emotion, dilemma and intrigue.
