Giovanna P @RT06186695 7h Such a heartfelt movie. I watched this as a 16 year old and made me cry because there is a huge meaning. One of the best parts of the movie is its message about seeing the world through someone else’s perspective. The movie teaches that people should try to understand others before judging them. At the beginning of the story, Kenai believes that bears are dangerous and evil, so he kills one out of anger. However, after being transformed into a bear himself, he experiences what it is like to be treated unfairly and hunted. This helps him develop empathy and understand that everyone has their own perspective. The film also explores the consequences of revenge. Kenai’s actions are driven by anger after the loss of his brother, but he learns that revenge only causes more pain for everyone involved. Through his journey with Koda, he realizes the importance of compassion, forgiveness, and taking responsibility for his mistakes. I really recommend this movie to watch. 10/10 for me and family. His relationship with Koda becomes the heart of the film, showing themes of family, forgiveness, and learning to understand others. The character development is one of the film’s strongest elements, even though some of that potential feels underused.
