Paul S @PManRager Jul 25, 2026 Not only is this a severe downgrade from the first one, but it is also one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen. The characters were nonsensical, the story was lackluster, and the fact that it wasn't done in the documentary style completely ruined the realism that made the first movie so iconic. I can't recommend this one, you're better off just skipping it and forgetting that it exists. See more John K @WQCMI May 24, 2026 Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but the editing was so lazy. Apparently, the film was mangled with studio interference which is why it became a mess. I like the concept, but the problem is that they show scenes of who's being killed before they're killed off, which disappoints me. But I kinda have a soft spot for that film, given how I'm not a fan of found footage and this not being found footage. Its a missed opportunity and a misunderstood film, I've seen worse than that. Aside from the occasional reference to the first film, the movie fails to feel like a Blair Witch film. You aren’t missing anything by skipping this film.
