An arrogant young prince and his castle's servants fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress, who turns him into the hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. The spirited, headstrong village girl Belle enters the Beast's castle after he imprisons her father Maurice. With the help of his enchanted servants, including the matronly Mrs. Potts, Belle begins to draw the cold-hearted Beast out of his isolation.

So happy to see classic movies back in theaters, can remember seeing them when I was a kid and seeing them with my family, makes me feel like a kid again, miss my family and wish they could be here to share these moments again.

Aesthetically pleasing, engaging and touching, it stands as an enduring fairy tale in the Disney canon, mostly because everything in it is in good measure. It has quite a few well-written songs, but not too many so as to overshadow the story. Similarly, the comic reliefs are on-point and not overbearing. The villain is not extremely cartoonish, and the same goes for the titular heroes, who have fleshed-out arcs, yet the film never loses sight of the simple fairy tale joys at its core either.

10/10. Beauty and the Beast is the best Disney Princess classic of all time. It has a timeless story, unforgettable characters, beautiful animation, and one of the greatest Disney soundtracks ever made. The movie is heartfelt, magical, and inspiring, making it a true animated masterpiece.

Synopsis
