One of the most annoying types of genre movies is when the elements of that genre are sprinkled on to a plain vanilla story. Such is the case with AS WE KNOW IT, a relationship comedy set – for no discernible reason – during a zombie apocalypse.

The film wisely decides to essentially put the monsters in the background while focusing on the people involved.. This makes for a story that will feel a little familiar at times but never derivative.

There are moments in this film where I was like woah.. this is unlike any zombie film I’ve ever seen.. and in a very good way. Definitely more of a social commentary than expected and very entertaining.

The reviews for this are confusing and way WAAAAY too good 🫤 This movie is a complete waste of time.. And Im a huge zombie fan, I typically find the good in even the least popular B/C-level zombie flicks but this one hasta be among the worst. Zero redeeming qualities here honestly. Turn on ur fan and put “As we know it” on at half-volume when you’re trying to fall asleep and only then, you may have found the only possible use for this bore-fest.

A nivel comedia funciona, a pesar de ser solo mucho dialogo es divertida y entretiene mucho. Aunque eso no la hace una buena película, todo lo contrario es horrible pero al menos se disfruta.

As We Know It is a delightful breath of fresh air in the zombie rom-com genre. Visually, it’s a nostalgic treat, with cinematography that practically begs you to stop and take in every beautifully shot scene. The performances are a standout, breathing life (and death) into the quirky characters and creating moments that you’ll be thinking about long after the credits roll. And of course, The Prairie Oyster – let’s just say, it’s a concoction you’ll never forget.

It’s was ok, at times it started drag with too much touchy feely dialogue. The script for the main characters seem like that were written for some more famous actors he were to old to play the parts! What seemed like a feel good ending was instead flipped into your typical everyone dies at the end of the typical zombie movie!
