Chris Sep 8, 2026 highly recommend 🇺🇲 See more David B @RT26530631 Sep 11, 2026 I think any producer who worked with the director should have curbed some of his more selfish instincts, such as borderline harassment and haranguing of survivors and their families doesn't come off well. I'm not sure he truly understands how PTSD affects people. I also hated the high drama in the beginning with loud effects and triggering pictures. it was over the top. 9/11 will never not be a horrific memory for all of us who went there, who saw the effects, or even for those who saw it on television, but for people who were there, it's on a whole other level. Jitendra's grace is really what saved this doc. See more James C @jcvash Sep 8, 2026 I believe photography matters to how we remember 9/11 and that the people who documented that day, some of whom died doing it, deserve to have their work seen and understood. The film makes that case well, and the interviews with first responders and other photographers are genuinely moving. But Walczak's investigation into the photographer's identity, complete with speculation about the man's final thoughts, feels exploitative, especially given his family's reported wish for privacy. Worth watching for the history it preserves, but I wish Walczak had trusted that history enough to leave himself out of the frame. See more Read all reviews
