Based on John le Carré's novel of the same name, "The Night Manager" is a crime drama following the work of former British soldier Jonathan Pine. Hotel night porter Pine is contacted by an intelligence operative who asks for his assistance to spy on international businessman Richard Roper. The entrepreneur is believed to have forged a criminal alliance between the secret arms trade and the intelligence community, prompting the need for surveillance. Pine attempts to infiltrate Roper's inner circle by becoming a felon himself, while keeping his mission a secret from his hotel colleagues and girlfriend.

The Night Manager season two is a show of two halves, cleaved by a big twist at the end of the third episode which changes the energy of the series. If you find the first few chapters a little dulled, just wait until that reveal. Go to Full Review

The spy game heats up with Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman back in action and a new villain (Diego Calva) to spark political and sexual intrigue. That three-way dance with Hiddleston, Calva and Camila Morrone generates enough sizzle to singe your screen Go to Full Review

If it had come out a year ago, Season 2 might've seemed like just another far-fetched thriller set in an exotic location. These days it feels closer to a news flash. Go to Full Review

Albeit repetitive, Tom Hiddleston is a sight for sore eyes in this Prime Video espionage thriller. Go to Full Review

Matty's P @Mattyboyisintheplace 3h The Night Manager* Season 2 is probably the show that stirred my mood the most recently. The first two episodes were slow-paced—not bad, not great—leaving me with that lukewarm ‘okay, I’ll keep watching’ feeling, unsure where the story was headed. Then Episode 3 delivered a major plot twist and a dramatic ending that completely flipped my perception, setting the stage for Episodes 4 and 5, which were just as gripping. It was a strong reminder not to judge a book by its cover—at least, not the first two episodes, which were still fine in their own way. Many people think it’s just a rehash of the first season, but they would be wrong; it’s really the end of a story told in two acts, and in that context, it makes perfect sense See more Paul R 19h Rehash of first season apart from scenery nothing new here!! Worst part they had to use the cheap cliche of shooting dogs to get a rise out of the audience Despicable nasty trick See more Jane D @JaneDewitt 1d I can't believe there's only one episode left. I loved the first season, but this one is extraordinary. Non-stop twists and turns, suspense, emotion, lies, loyalty, breathtaking moments, and more. You never see what's coming next. It's pure joy! A triumph!! See more Mandy N 1d Absolutely loving it, follows similar lines as series ! storyline but still a good watch. See more Ivan F @Neogrey 1d Disappointing. Especially after episode 5 where things got really unconvincing. Not going to spoil it for whoever haven't seen it yet but don't waste your time. It's a weak script and a pathetic dialogue. See more Bill E @besbenshade 2d The plot for the second season isn't credible. Hiddleston and his crew are supposed to be MI6 agents but they interact with others without discretion or any meaningful spy tradecraft (a hallmark of LeCarre's books). And how could the bad guy (the Columbian gun runner) not call corrupt MI6 leaders and easily discover Hiddleston's true identity? The plot seems to assume the bad guys don't communicate with each other. Not much respect for the viewer's intelligence. The first season was great and clearly adapted from LeCarre's work/book. The second season very obviously lacks this grounding. See more Read all reviews
