Robert Crampton

Robert Crampton joined The Times in 1991, aged 27. After a decade as a feature writer and interviewer, he began his Beta Male column in the Saturday Magazine in 2001. Since 2010, he has also contributed a weekly column in Times 2, as well as regular leaders and opinion pieces for the editorial pages. He continues to do so, in addition to features, interviews and political reportage for the news pages. Robert is also a weekly guest on Matt Chorley’s show on Times Radio. He won a British Press Award for interviewer of the year in 2004.
