Flatly filmed, drably lit, and sluggishly paced, "Yes, God, Yes" takes a cheeky premise and slowly lets the air out of it. Go to Full Review

I was really impressed with this. A small, slight film that gets absolutely to the heart of strangeness... Go to Full Review

It’s a fantastic slice of millennial nostalgia that takes the fear and desire and awkwardness of teenage sexuality seriously and presents it authentically. Go to Full Review

In Yes, God, Yes, a smart 2017 short film about sexuality and religious guilt partly loses its message when stretched over 87 minutes in a full length feature. Go to Full Review

Richard S. @richard_52 6h Good movie with Natalia Dyer in it. Low budget movie but hey, good job for the low budget, they did not let that get in their way. See more Zeniah M. @zeniah_vs.iphone 2d I interpreted this movie as a girl who was struggling with natural urges but her religion interfered with what she really wanted. This movie shows the toxicity religion can have and the secrets and desires everyone hides. See more Douglas E Jan 12 The film criticizes religion in an exaggerated and even somewhat unfair way. I understand that certain religions create excessive rules, placing heavy demands on people and turning the relationship with God into a burden to carry. We know that this kind of thing does exist in some religious environments, but it does not apply to all of them. The film ends up, in a way, demonizing religion and treating everything related to morality as a taboo to be broken. We are not animals meant to act only on instinct; there are limits that should not be crossed. See more Sam O Sep 1 If not for the actual content story, this would feel like a children's movie. The supporting characters are paper-thin, and the progression of events come across very uninspired. Natalia Dyer does very well. See more Pinoy Short R @emill_santos Feb 5 Panalo. See more Anthony J 07/13/2024 It was an okay movie, but it was way too slow. I liked the nostalgia feel some of the scenes gave me, but I felt like I was waiting for something to happen the entire time. See more Read all reviews
