I think I had very low expectations because I checked the rating here first, I'm surprised it is this low - it's not the best movie ever but its worth watching. Several good plot twists and the ending was unexpected. See more Rogue T @RogueBait Apr 19, 2026 The husband (Dave) gave me second-hand anxiety! His performance felt so raw and authentic, and you can almost feel his mental foundation crumbling with each scene....but you don't truly realize why until the very end. The plot is deliberately and wildly unpredictable in a way that makes it difficult to feel confident about where the story is headed. I can usually predict a movie within 30 minutes of starting it but this one I was completely clueless throughout. Spoiler note: The film does include a controversial moment (to put it politely) involving the husband and his sister-in-law due to substance-influenced circumstances (x), which explains (but doesn't justify) their abhorrent behavior. While that may be difficult to sit with, the film’s ability to maintain suspense and deliver strong performances made it a good watch. The screenplay & directing was well done. Sometimes I like to watch a movie that I don't have to think too hard to keep up. Even though there is constant switching to past events, it was easy to follow. And shout out to the three main characters, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
