The direction by Bobcat Goldthwait is simple and unobtrusive, but it makes sure to pay homage to all the tropes that you might expect it to. Willow Creek knows it’s lane, which is cheap, barebones, short, and mostly improvised.

I know the customer reviews are at a paltry 34%. But, if you've ever watched with guilty pleasure "In Search of Bigfoot," from the Leonard Nimoy-narrated series from the 70's, and have seen "The Blair Witch Project" more than five times, give this film a look. It's campy good fun. The five minutes the couple spends with the guy they cast as the Bigfoot specialist is worth the price of admission, and the last 30 minutes--though drawn out in parts--are about as tense as those scenes in the tent during "Blair Witch." Can't believe Bobcat Goldthwait wrote and directed this!

An absolute slog with no story, dread, or scares. It’s like watching paint dry in the woods. A waste of an hour. Spend your time with a deserving horror.

Not bad but not amazing. Basically the Blair Witch Project but with Bigfoot instead of witches. The buildup was far too slow. At least half the movie was just them talking nonsense before they even get into the bush. But entertaining once the good stuff started.
