Matt T @OliverReel 1d Personally, I'm not much of a fan of movies with animals that aren't, let's say... talking or anthropomorphic, like The Lion King or The Aristocats. In this case, I admit I really enjoyed it. Even though I haven't read the original novel it's based on, I have to say the story is engaging and emotional, and you can easily become attached to the characters; plus, the animation is quite good. But... among the things I didn't like is that all the action scenes (for example, when White Fang's mother fights, or when he fights the dogs) are often cut short or leave us wondering what's happening. I also think the human characters weren't developed enough; and near the end of the movie, it gets a bit slow. And finally, despite what I said earlier about the animation, I feel the punches don't have enough visual impact to feel like... well, punches. If it weren't for those details, and perhaps lasting a little longer, I'm sure it would have been a much better movie. See more Kiki A @nyxelle Jan 18 I loved watching this movie when I was younger!
