Jay L. @Jay.Livin 4d This film started out strong but feel flat about halfway through. It has some emotional moments but it lacks an in depth storyline. 81 saving his crew was a good plot to go off of but we didn’t know anything about the entire crew besides the fact that 7 knew 81’s brother and 15 liked conspiracy theories. I would’ve liked to grow sort of attachment to the other characters so their deaths were more meaningful in a way because I felt nothing when most of the crew died. I actually laughed when 15 died and he somehow threw the ammo right into 81’s arms. The alien plot also feel flat, it would’ve been great to get some more info on them or why they came to earth. The pacing barely slows down, the machine combat is intense, and Alan Ritchson absolutely fits this kind of role perfectly.
