The film struggles to set tone, switching between drama and comedy at random times, often mid-scene. However, it manages to be a moderately entertaining fare despite the code switching and constant breaking of the fourth wall.

Entertaining family drama with great music and superb performances from lead actors. First half is feel good with good family drama and Second half has Vijay mass moments, vintage vijay style, mannerisms and performances, some drama, great dance numbers and emotional climax. Enjoy the movie with family 👌🏽👍🏽. The Boss Returns 👍🏽.

A well rounded family entertainer. Couple of typical Vijay movie songs could have been edited out or simply moved to the end after titles - to keep the pace of the movie going. Also, a little less of Vijay and more of others could have also helped take it even further. Still a fun family entertainer with a takeaway for all.
