See more Jon P @RT64257777 Apr 30, 2026 In an age when every movie is an unoriginal reboot, sequel, prequel, or complete ripoff, Unfrosted is an original, fun, and memorable comedy. This movie succeeded in making me laugh, in making me forget doom scrolling for awhile, and in entertaining me thoroughly. The comedy is wacky, snarky, and the cast is fantastic. Aside from almost anyone who was ever on SNL, a standout was Jon Hamm, who did an amazing job parading his Don Draper character. The buzzkill losers putting this movie down are the same ones complaining that no one tries anything original, no one tries comedy just for sake of comedy, and apparently wants every movie to be 3 hours of tense dialog like the Irishman. This isn't for them. This movie exists for one single reason: To entertain you. No, not every joke is a hit, not every scene is cohesive - and it doesn't have to be! It is fun for fun's sake. So enjoy something that is wacky. Enjoy giving your brain a break. Enjoy a simple, fun story with an excellent cast. In retrospect, I wish I had the windows open so my neighbors could hear me laughing and see my tears of joy. The characters were immaculate. The set charming. The plot was full of twists and never failed to keep me entertained. Humorous doesn't even begin to describe it. I had to change pants four times. However, I might note that this movie would not be well-received by anyone who thinks to highly of themselves or spends long hours criticizing others on the internet (i.e. those who are devoid of joy).
