Cameron H. @camthemovieman 1d A town is held hostage by evil sentient trucks who have declared war on humanity! This 1997 TV movie, “Trucks,” is based on the short story by Stephen King and delivers exactly what you’d expect: cheesy acting, exploding trucks, and one of the funniest movie deaths I’ve ever seen! See more Chet W. @RT43675629 Oct 31 Yes it’s just like the movie Maximum Overdrive but for a B rated movie it was pretty good , it’s a good movie to watch on a Saturday afternoon See more Steve D @RT35616104 02/13/2023 As dumb as the original. See more Ken B @MrBelmont 02/12/2023 LMFAO! I mean, I'm sure the viewing audience was never truly meant to take this "entertaining " story too seriously! A potentially doable plot here, just horribly written as a film adaptation with less than convincing actors, with the exception of Brenda Bakke, whose acting capabilities really couldn't be appreciated here for a "vehicle " of this calibre! See more 10/19/2020 Amazing. I wept openly. See more 02/06/2020 It's an off brand of Maximum Overdrive. The acting is a little B- but the story line is good. I'd of upgraded the sound quality a little more. The only part of the story I didn't like was Abby's dad took off on the bike with Abby they find her but never really figure out what happened to him. 3.5 stars. Maximum Overdrive definitely got a 5 star. See more Read all reviews
