Gary King (Simon Pegg) is an immature 40-year-old who's dying to take another stab at an epic pub-crawl that he last attempted 20 years earlier. He drags his reluctant buddies back to their hometown and sets out for a night of heavy drinking. As they make their way toward their ultimate destination -- the fabled World's End pub -- Gary and his friends attempt to reconcile the past and present. However, the real struggle is for the future when their journey turns into a battle for mankind.

Like what Wright, Pegg, and Frost did for horror and action, this third entry into the Cornetto Trilogy similarly lampooned while also paying tribute to the sci-fi genre, while also delivering plenty of heart.

Admittedly, it was outright weird to see Simon Pegg and Nick Frost switch their signature screen personas around in this film, but they did so with groundbreaking skill! The action scenes were choreographed so well, the cameramen might have been involved in the fights themselves, the quip about one of the characters getting a hard-on in his youth was hilarious and the special effects were excellent! While I assume it wasn't intended by Pegg and Edgar Wright to make the ending a cliffhanger, it could certainly step up to the challenge if necessary. The only bad thing? Nick Frost's performance as Andy Knightly literally scared me and his berserker scenes had me cowering behind my pillow!

As an immature 40 something single guy who likes pub crawls and reminiscing about his glory days, I can heavily relate to this documentary. It’s pretty decent in the end. Worth a watch. Saw it on Amazon Prime.

Peliculón. A nivel comedia cumple exactamente con lo que esperaba a ver. Al principio arranca lenta pero toma forma con el giro argumental y a partir de ahí es una montaña rusa que no se sabe para adonde va a ir. La historia si bien es flashera tiene un planteo y mensaje que resulta bastante interesante de analizar. Mejor de lo que esperaba, me encanto.

I rate Hot Fuzz as one of my favourite films of all time. It’s so easy to put on and watch over and over again. Shaun of the dead I like less but it’s still well made. The 3rd and final film, worlds end, is a terrible unwatchable mess! The story is weak and lame and it just isn’t funny…
