The secret lies in passion and serious quality in everything unrelated to the silly plot: acting, dialogue, directing, camera. So: an excellent, silly movie. See more Marco L @decatur555 Aug 5, 2026 The Warning is an entertaining Spanish thriller built around numbers, repeated events and two stories separated by time. Raúl Arévalo plays a man who discovers a possible pattern connecting several deaths and becomes convinced that another tragedy can still be prevented. The mystery creates enough tension to keep the film moving, although the more complicated the puzzle becomes, the more difficult some of its coincidences are to believe. Daniel Calparsoro gives the story a cold and unsettling atmosphere, while Hugo Arbués adds a more immediate kind of suspense. For me, Aura Garrido is once again the strongest presence in the film, bringing warmth and credibility whenever she appears. The final explanation is not as powerful as the premise promises, but the film remains engaging and easy to watch.
