Positives: The acting is solid all across the board, the concept of Barbarians vs. Loyalists, and the violence is a bit more brutal this time. What I hated was how many questions I had by the finale! None of my questions from the first film are answered, and the ones that get answered are extremely silly. What was the director / writer thinking? It's got to be one of the worst balls up in cinema history - to take such an interesting concept, complete with so much good will from the first movie, and just burn it down by putting your own head firmly up your own a**. See more Jaana K @jaanak Mar 9, 2026 My review from my heart : I know I’m about 2 years late but this might honestly be the worst movie I’ve ever seen. I kept waiting for things to make sense, but the film keeps setting up random rules and then ignoring them. By the end it just turns confusing and frustrating instead of clever. I get that it’s supposed to be "symbolic" but symbolism shouldn’t replace basic logic. Definitely not worth the hype for me.
