After arriving safely home from their unprecedented victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) discover that they must do a quick turnaround and begin a Victors Tour. As she and Peeta travel throughout the districts, Katniss senses a rebellion is stirring. Catching fire ate and left no crumbs on this one. THG took it one step further in its second installment of the franchise. We saw more complex complexity building off the plot, and how it’s not just about the hunger games but the Capitol. I got goosebumps when finnick said don’t forget to the real enemy is This one really brings in a new set off characters and shows really the complex yet heartwarming dynamic between them. Mockingjay 1&2 continued the stretch btw. Get watching. Hehe

The best of the movies. It just best encapsulates what’s great about this franchise. It has all of the entertainment value and action of the first, but it has more of a sense of hope and victory, while also enriching the themes being explored here. It’s also when the series gets more complex, it isn’t just “capitalism bad, revels good” anymore.
