Now I understand why so many actors are waiters while waiting to be actors. From the oafish Detective Miller to the hardened veteran Detective Richards (both emplying wanna-be NY accents???), the overacting is incredible. Why does Det. Miller wear a bullet-proof vest to a routine call while Det. Richards elects not to? Who was the technical advisor on this film? Love the set design. The lead's wrought iron bed (twin size) with star string lights entwined on the headboard looks like it should be for a 10-year-old. Too bad because the eerie factors are present in the movie (doors opening/closing by themselves, shadowy figures passing doorways or...right behind you!)
